Letter from the COO: Ryan Laughon

Since the founding of Archway in 2002, our firm has been focused on providing a single software product to the marketplace. From 2002 to 2004, our ATPartnership product served the accounting needs of Hedge Funds and Hedge Fund Administrators, both large and small. Beginning in 2005 and continuing through today, our ATWeb product extended the firm’s technology footprint into the Family Office, Multi-Family Office and Investment Advisory markets.

We are excited to announce that we will be adding a second software application to our product portfolio in the summer of 2012, Archway Reporting Technology (ART). The ART application will allow Archway clients to design and develop their own reporting content utilizing the powerful IBM Cognos business intelligence product suite. Specifically, subscribing clients will be able to create reports using the rich data from their ATWeb database through the IBM Cognos Report Studio 10.1 application.

ART has been carefully designed and developed over the past 14 months and will provide the sought-after access to a web-based report writer. ART will be capable of producing high quality, client-facing reports as well as internal management reports to assist in running your business.

Use of the ART technology is not necessarily applicable to all Archway clients. In many cases, the nearly 200 existing reports in ATWeb provide more than enough content to manage your operations and satisfy your external reporting obligations. However, for clients who need additional reporting horsepower, ART will provide a tremendous opportunity to enhance your reporting library through use of world-class report writing technology that is fully-integrated with ATWeb.

Over the next few months, the Archway Sales & Marketing team will be providing additional information on ART through news releases, website content, online product demos and other special events. I encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about ART and its capabilities to participate in these activities.
